The Falsies inspired look

How to do your eyes like this...


Hey everyone, i was looking at this picture and thought ooooh i would like to try it, so i gave my best attempt! And also made a tutorial for you lovelys if you would like to experiment this look sometime! Ideal for going out out and looking Fierce!! I love the way it is all about outlining your whole eye and making them VAVOOM and POP out for a very sharp sexy look.

OKAY so..
I used 3 basic things..


1. Bobbi brown gel eye liner
2. The Falsies Mascara by Maybelline New York
3. Maybelline's Glamour Browns Eyeshadow



a) So first of all dust your eyelid with a desired neutral colour, i chose a soft brown colour as i do luuurve my browns! I think greys would look nice but i didnt have a grey eyeshadow :(

b) Apply eyeshadow at the inner corners of your eye and below your bottom lashes

c) Draw a thin line with your eyeliner, above your upper lashes and extend it quite far out. Liquid eyeliner works best as it gives a more dark effect which you need to create the look.

d) Make sure you get the corners of your inner eye and continue it below your lower lashes as close as you can, and then meet it up to the top line to join them together. Don't worry if it isnt perfect you can clean it up afterwards! :)

e) Apply Mascara (and lots of it) to your lower lashes. Falsies is BEST!

f) Get a pair of eyelashes and stick them on, you can have it as dramatic as you like but i like these more natural ones that i always swear by. Remember to ALWAYS curl your own lashes first and then apply the false lashes so that you blend them together.

g) Now time to clean up!! get a cotton bud and make it slightly damp and take away any imperfections and tidy it up til your happy with it.

h) Viola! There you have it!

The Falsies

First of all i would like to thank Serena and Cindy for the blog awards! Means a lot thank you girls :)

Mmmmm im munching on some dried mango that was bought all the way from hong kong aji ichiban! its soooo yummmyyy!! om nom nom nom.. Anywayyss...

I recently bought myself a mascara called 'The Falsies' by maybelline new york, purely because my cousin Ani aka Pandagirl wrote a blog about it and i thought ooooooooo i want to try it and... I love it sooooo much!!!
I use mascara especially on my lower lashes and this product gives volume and thickness in just a few strokes. PERFECT!!! The brush seperates your lashes really well and also i find it quite hard to get the outer corners of my lashes with a normal straight brush, but this is a curvey brush and its so much more easier.. and it doesnt get all clumpy.



I actually prefer this to Fiberwig as i find fiberwig lengthens your lashes in a wispy way, you may like that but i prefer the vavoomness Falsies give my lashes and still lengthening it slightly in a more natural way. And of course fiberwig takes a lot of time to apply if you want very long lashes. I would recommend Fiberwig to anyone, its totally worth the price at £5.99 special promotion at superdrug and boots right now but normally costs £7.99 which is still ok.

What is love?

To be perfectly honest, I don't think that love can be described. And that's the phenomenon of it. Nobody can place a definite definition on it. Love isn't just a four letter word, and shouldn't be flounced around casually. Until you know what real love is, you will never understand it. Even when you're in love, you can't really understand it. You find yourself with overwhelming urges to be with that person; do all the "couply" things. Of course the traditional bottle of wine with a DVD, cuddled up on the sofa come in tow. Love can't be described; you just know what it feels like. And once you feel it, you never want to let that feeling go.

Love doesn't know the faults of another. All love knows is the other. Love fails to understand time as well. You may know someone for years, then again, you may only know them for days. Love doesn't care. Love is love. It's fickle and fantastic and difficult all at once. But, even in times of anger or frustration, love still reminds you that it is there. No matter how angry you get, you still know that you love the person with all that you have and that there isn't anything that you wouldn't do to make the one you love feel what you feel. Most of all, however, being loved is great but knowing how it feels to love another is the greatest feeling of all. If you love someone, you know it. Make sure they do, too.

Golden Lioness

Hey Readers!!

Here is a make up look i created today which i call The Golden Lioness!!! RAWR!

Go on Try it yourselves.. I promise its very easy!



The Essentials:
Liquid/Gel Eyeliner
Mascara
Gold Eyeshadow
Black shimmery Eyeshadow
Eyebrow Pencil
False Eyelashes (optional)
Blendey brush and a flat eyeshadow brush
Neutral Lipgloss



What I Used:
Bobbi Brown Black Long wear Gel Eye liner
Fiberwig Mascara
MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow
Lancome Black Ellipse Eyeshadow
Christian Dior Eyebrow Pencil
Body Shop Liquid Lip Color



To create this look first of all sweep the Gold eyeshadow over your eyelids
Then take the eyeliner and draw a thin line with a slight flick at the end creating a 'cats eye' look.

Take the flat brush and the Black eyeshadow and mark out the crease line in your eyelids, gradually blend it in with your blender brush for a smokey effect.

Curl your natural lashes and apply your false eyelashes on followed by a light coat of mascara to blend your lashes together for a more natural look.

Apply mascara onto your lower lashes and use the tip of the flat brush and gold eyeshadow and dab the inner corners of your eye to half way below your bottom lashes, use the black eyeshadow from that half way point to the outer corners of your eye creating a smudgey smokey effect.

Finish off with defining your eyebrows and a Gorgeous Neutral lipgloss!

Vixen Rachel

Hey everyone, just been back from the cinema and watched The Crazies! I jumped twice! And got quite scared at one point had to cover half my face with my scarf and peek through my hands... but overall i thought the trailer looked like it was gonna be a well good film... but it wasnt. Quite dissapointed! Was looking forward to it and it sort of burst my bubble. The storyline wasnt very good. Anyways today i got my Jadilla J Lipstick I ordered online.. woohoo!!! Its called Original Love and also bought a Lipstick by Girl Talk in Milk Pink.. sounds niceee.. it is slightly softer, milkier than the Jadilla J one and not as bright.

Today i went to hand in some application forms in town. Went into Starbucks first and bought a Tall Skinny half shot Caramel Machiatto.. mmmmmmm yum! and then went into Costa with my application form and handed it in. The Barista said 'You come in and hand in an application form holding a starbucks cup!' I laughed and they asked me to put it in a Costa cup and said they would consider it.. hahahhaa.......



Recently got scouted by Nutspoker to be part of the all female poker team called RedHotVixens! Basically I play in these tournaments and act as a bounty, which means whoever knocks me out will get a cash bonus! So they will be gunnin for us Vixens hard!! And my job is to stay in the game for as long as possible, as i do get paid to play.. ;)
